About Del Mar Mesa

Del Mar Mesa covers 2,042 acres east of Carmel Valley and north of Los Peñasquitos Canyon. It has grown as a semi rural community of large homes, a golf course and a resort hotel.

Eucalyptus groves planted around farmsteads in the late 1800s still stand. Much of the east end is being kept as open space.

The Del Mar Mesa community plan was adopted June 27, 2000. Read it on the City of San Diego community plan page.
